Dr. Michael Farber

Founder & CMO

Michael S. Farber, M.D., is board certified in internal and lifestyle medicine and provides comprehensive concierge medical care. Dr. Farber is the medical director of Executive Health at Hackensack University Medical Center. Dr. Farber is skilled in all aspects of internal medicine and lifestyle medicine and has been providing care for professional athletes since 2001. Dr. Farber was born and raised in N.Y. After completing his training in N.J., he joined the medical staff at Hackensack University Medical Center and developed the medical center’s Executive Health program. In addition to currently directing the Executive Health program, Dr. Farber is an assistant professor of medicine at Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine and team physician for the Brooklyn NETS professional basketball team, CMO for the New York Red Bulls professional soccer team, Medical Director for the N.J. Devils professional hockey team, and medical consultant for the NY GIANTS professional football team and N.Y. Liberty professional basketball team. Dr. Farber is active in various subcommittees within the NBA, NHL, and MLS and was a key member in developing the current NBA, WNBA, and G-league protocol for concussion and for awareness and management of venous thromboembolism and deep vein thrombosis within the NBA. Dr. Farber is the venue medical director for various international soccer tournaments and major metro area sporting events and provides medical direction and care for music and entertainment companies, artists, and entertainers. Dr. Farber has been a leader in COVID-19 corporate planning and strategy and has been instrumental in guiding return to work or play with many essential companies, events, and professional sports teams, arenas, and leagues. Dr. Farber is a founding partner of Baker Street Health and Human Performance, a company that integrates health and well-being with optimal performance. Dr. Farber is licensed in N.Y. and N.J.

Dr. Joseph Galasso

Behavioral & Psychological Services

Dr. Joseph Galasso holds a Doctoral Degree in Clinical Psychology and is licensed to practice in New York and New Jersey and is PsyPact certified to provide virtual care across the United States. His areas of expertise include psychological assessment and treatment, sport psychology, clinical and organizational consultation, and organizational development. Dr. Galasso owns and operates Baker Street Behavioral Health & The COR Behavioral Group with offices located throughout New Jersey and a growing telehealth presence throughout the greater United States. These practices provide integrated behavioral health services for children, teens, adults, and families. Specifically, Dr. Galasso has developed internationally recognized and adopted athletic programs for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Dr. Galasso provides ongoing consultation, training, and coaching services to individuals, families, professional and amateur athletes, teams, corporations, and schools. He and his team has and continues to provide consultation to professional sports teams and athletes who compete in the NBA, MLB, NFL, NHL, MLS, NWSL, PHF, WNBA, UFC, PBC, PBR and Olympics. He has a proven track record for providing assistance with pre-draft selection profiles to assist teams in their selection. Dr. Joe and his team were delighted to assist in the selection of the 2021 WNBA Rookie of the Year.

Guilermo Artiles

Board Director

Guillermo Artiles is an attorney and one of New Jersey’s most politically powerful personalties impacting politics and government in the state. Serving as an advocate for clients in the court room and in the statehouse, Guillermo is a Founding Partner at Baker Street Health and Human Performance where he operates as the companies outside counsel, and a Partner at McCarter & English where he chairs the Government Affairs Practice. Active in state and national politics, Guillermo helps clients achieve their governmental, media, and business development objectives. He advocates for clients across multiple industries, including telecommunications, technology, healthcare, education, energy, advertising, and fintech. He received his JD from Rutgers Law School, based in NJ, and his BA from Hamilton College, based in NY. Guillermo recently served as Associate Counselor for the Governor of New Jersey and is a Board of Director for the Baker Street Cares Foundation.

Dr. Adeola Sonaike

Chief Operating Officer

Dr. Adeola Sonaike is an epidemiologist and public health practitioner. With over a decade of experience as a Health Executive, she has led numerous efforts in the development and implementation of public health initiatives and population health services for individuals with complex care and special health care needs through research, advocacy, program development and community engagement. She is the Chief Operating Officer at Baker Street Behavioral Health and Baker Street Health and Human Performance, and is the co-founder and Vice President of the Baker Street Cares Foundation. Dr. Sonaike has served as an advisor for multiple advisory councils in the pharmaceutical industry, State government and in the academic research sector. As an epidemiologist, she has led pandemic response and organizational cohesion efforts in the non-profit sector, the corporate sector and for professional sports. She received her PhD in Public Health-Epidemiology from Walden University, based in Minneapolis, MN. She also received a Master’s Degree in Public Health from Walden University, and her Bachelor’s Degree in Biological Sciences from Rutgers University, based in NJ. She completed a fellowship as a Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Culture of Health Leader where she strengthened her skillsets in diversity, equity and inclusion, and in organizational change management. Dr. Sonaike’s areas of expertise include public health, epidemiology, health policy, chronic disease prevention, intellectual and developmental disabilities, and neuro-epidemiology.

Consultant

Dr. Chris Stackpole holds a Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy and a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from Boston University. Dr. Stackpole is a board-certified clinical specialist in Sport by the American Physical Therapy Association, a certified strength and conditioning specialist, and certified in Organizational Leadership by the University of Massachusetts-Dartmouth. His expertise includes athlete care coordination, return-to-play programming, sports science, organizational leadership, and organizational design.
For the last decade, Dr. Stackpole has been a leader and practitioner within the NBA and NHL.  He has a proven track record in reducing injury, optimizing communication, and building effective transdisciplinary teams.
